Quarterly Health eNews Newsletters to Your Customers

Your Pharmacy Websites Health eNews Newsletter module includes a quarterly newsletters sent to your customers.

Features of Your Newsletter

  • Each newsletter will contain interesting articles that are designed to lead people straight to your own website
  • Newsletters are personalised using your customer's first name
  • Customers will receive a newsletter from your pharmacy, with your own pharmacy header and email address
  • Newsletters follow anti-spam laws and include an opt-out at the bottom of each newsletter
  • You will receive a copy of the newsletter a few days before so that you can review the content before your customer's come rushing through the door to talk about the newsletter that you sent them!
  • If you have customers without email, you also receive a copy of the newsletter that you can print off if you require

How will Customer's Email Addresses be collected and managed?

Customer email addresses are collected by you, as they are your personal customers.  This is all that we ask you to do. 

Your Pharmacy Websites Account Manager will give you some ideas on how to gather your customers' email address. Perhaps you might like to run a competition to encourage your customers to give you their email addresses.  Your Account Manager can discuss ideas with you.

You will also be sent a list of emails that 'bounced' after each newsletter is sent.  Again, it is best that you contact your customer to verify the email address.  This is part of building relationships and trust with your customers.

All email addresses are stored securely and are guaranteed not to be used for any purpose other than sending information to your customers on your behalf.  Rest assured, we will not pass these email addresses on to any third party or use them without your permission.

Your customers will also be able to sign up for your newsletter directly from your website.

How can I gather my customer's email addresses?

All you need to do is encourage your customers to sign up for a monthly Health-e-News Newsletter.  You are asked to do this as it is part of the process of developing customer relationships to talk to your customers about the new service that you are providing for them to help improve their health and wellbeing.  You can do this in a number of ways:

Give your customers a card, slip of paper or flyer with your email address so they can go home and sign up.  See the sample below:

Ask your customers to fill in a card in your Pharmacy and you sign them up on your website.  See the sample below:

Ask them to fill in a list that gather's customers details.  See the sample below:

 

Display a sign on your counter encouraging your customers to sign up for the Health-e-News. See the sample below:

Run a competition to encourage your customers to sign up for the Health-e-News or leave their business card.  A monthly draw and prize giveaway can be associated with this competition.  Prizes could include:

  • a basket of products from your Pharmacy
  • a cheap laptop
  • a discount voucher
  • anything you can think of that your customers would love to win!
